What Is the GammAssist Program?

The GammAssist Program is a way for eligible users of Baxter's Immune Globulin Intravenous (Human) therapies to continue to receive their Immune Globulin without charge in the event of a lapse in private insurance. Any user of Baxter's GAMMAGARD LIQUID [Immune Globulin Intravenous (Human)] 10% or any other Baxter brands of IVIG therapy is eligible to participate in the program.

How Does The Program Work?

Once you're enrolled, you will automatically receive Utilization forms on a trimester basis (January-April, May-August, and September-December); these must be completed to verify your continued use of GAMMAGARD LIQUID or any other Baxter brands of IVIG therapy. Upon receipt of your completed Utilization form, PAREXEL, the independent program administrator for GammAssist Program, will issue a GammAssist Certificate.

Your certificates can be stored in the special Certificate Folder, which you'll receive with confirmation of your enrollment. When you have three certificates, and in the event that you experience an insurance lapse, you will be eligible to redeem the certificates for up to a three month-supply (based on your usage up to a maximum of 180 grams) of IVIG therapy. Up to 12 certificates (representing four years of continuous use of Baxter therapeutics) can be collected. A maximum of twelve certificates can be redeemed in one calendar year. Your GammAssist Certificates are good for five years.

Why Be Without It?

Of course, you may never need to use your certificates because you may never have a lapse in insurance. But people who participate in the program and their families say it gives them increased peace of mind just knowing it is available. For this reason, we encourage every eligible person to enroll in the GammAssist Program.

Private and Secure

To ensure the confidentiality of your personal information, the GammAssist Program is administered by PAREXEL, a company that provides special support programs and patient advocacy services for families affected by chronic or long-term health conditions. PAREXEL is the independent program administrator for the GammAssist Program.

How to Enroll

• Call the GammAssist Program at 1-888-229-8379 and complete the form over the phone.
• Print enrollment form , which upon completion may be faxed to 1-800-643-9450 or mailed to: PAREXEL, P.O. Box 230906, Centreville, Virginia 20120.
• Complete the form online.

Enrollment confirmation letters will be mailed to each enrollee within two weeks of receipt of application. Your enrollment will remain as long as the administrator receives your completed Utilization forms confirming continuous usage of Baxter therapeutics. These forms will be mailed to enrollee every 4 months.
